I'll be on the lookout for this bag...
Well I didn't actually get to watch the show, cable problems, so I caught up with the fashion by trawling the internet for images. My feeling is that this years show was lacking in show stopping gowns.... but these ain't bad.

Well, well, well look what's about to launch...

Hello.... if you have not yet stumbled across the gorgeousness of Karen Walker's Design.. let me lead the way. Currently dribbling and ahhh-ing over "The American Girl" Collection.

I am however LOVING Kate Moss in this vintage 40's inspired get up... so gorgeous, on the cover of British Vogue.
That I am a huge fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley (no last names necessary!) for their undeniable unique fashion sense, true love of vintage and amazingly successful fashion line. They wear what they like, when they like and have developed true styles all of their own. My hat's off to you gals... although I'm still not sure which ones which. (and if you reading this... I'm sure I have some vintage-select pieces for either one or both of you!)

What great styling and photography can do for a clothing line I certainly wouldn't have given a second look at... check it out.

Hi there folks, today I thought I'd give some easy pointers on how to wear and incorporate vintage pieces into a modern wardrobe, for the most stylish one of a kind looks. Personally the best way to wear vintage is to mix and match with modern accessories and other clothing items. Head to toe vintage is a hard look to pull off without looking like you just stepped off a movie set! I love to wear a vintage dress paired with modern accessories and vice versa, here are a couple of my favorite looks so far.
Exhibit A

Vintage 70's Polyester horse head print shift dress, No 6 Clogs, vintage Kawasaki 70's tote and raybans.
Exhibit B
Vintage 60's White wool crochet jacket, vintage mustard bird sweater, Gap black skinny jeans, vintage polka dot scarf, No 6 Clogs.
So you all must of noticed last year how everyone from H&M, Topshop, Zara, Madewell, Forever21 etc all jumped on the embellishment bandwagon and had all manor of things, especially sequins, adorning everything from tops to tights. Here Proenza Schouler as first posted here, is still giving gorgeous sequins a run for their money!

How about some fabulous beaded numbers from the good ole 80's!

Both dresses classics from the 80's, heavily beaded and sequined stunning designs, pristine condition and dramatically different, both can be found here.
Okay so some pretty apparent trend watching for 2011 the front runners are... drum roll please!
Prints, color blocking and long hem lines, from my friends over at Refinery 29...
the hot new colors for this year being honeysuckle pink, orange, yellow and bold blues, but this time paring multiple colors together.

Going Long... hemlines will be sweeping the floor this year. A personal favorite of mine the maxi is back! and speaking of...
that 70's show... from the wide legged pants, to halters the 70's are back again.

Prints - the louder the better, anything goes. Here's some examples in the store right now.
