Shipping/Returns

SHIPPING

Domestic $10.00 USD

International $ 20.00 USD

I usually ship out once a week, via USPS Priority Mail and will provide you with a tracking number.  This service generally takes about 5 days, however should you not be able to contain your excitement by wanting your new item sooner, please email and I will endeavor to get this out to you sooner.  Unfortunately once your dress has left my hands I can no longer be held responsible for the inner workings of the good ole USPS. Please keep your tracking number handy!!

International orders will take longer to arrive due to your country's own inner postal workings and customs.  Please be patient and take this into consideration when ordering.  If I could Genie mail it over to you I would!

Also please be advised that I cannot ship anything to Nigeria, I'm not sure what those naughty Nigerians have been up to but upon researching this I found a lot of vintages stores have this policy and do not ship there, so I've jumped on that bandwagon.  Again sorry Nigerians, but you will not be wearing a frock from me.

RETURNS

Well what can I say, I want you to be happy so I have taken great care in accurately photographing and describing all items on Vintage-Select.  If you feel I have missed something and are not happy with your new purchase, please email me (shop@vintage-select.com) we CAN work it out, I am extremely flexible (seriously I used to be a gymnast!).

Having said that YES you can return, there are conditions, you will pay for the return shipping USPS Priority Please! and you will be refunded your original purchase price minus a 20% re-cleaning and re-stocking fee.   So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, get a tape measure and measure a garment that fits you beautifully, not your own physical body measurements but a dress (see sizing page).

I must however be emailed your intent to return immediately as you have received item and will expect it back within 7 days in the condition you received it in, ie. please don't wear the dress and then send it back to me, please, pretty please.

I have tried to find pieces that present beautifully, are totally original and in a wide variety of sizing for all.  I do however encourage you to tailor down to your specific size, a nip and tuck here and there can make a world of difference on a piece that you just can't live without but doesn't quite make your measurements.  I have done this many times with pieces I have bought for myself that were slightly too big, trust me, a good tailor these days is a real find, fairly inexpensive and can turn that piece into from so/so to spectacular! So find one, you will not be sorry, NYC customers, email me if you are looking for a tailor I can recommend.
